Soy Candle Care and Burning Instructions

Once you've burned a soy candle, you won't want any other! You do have to maintain any type of candle, so here's some tips I hope you find helpful.

• Burn the candle until the melt pool (liquid wax) covers the top of the candle from edge to edge- especially the first time you burn it. Candles have memories - if you have a small melt pool and blow it out, it may never catch up.  Rule of thumb...burn one hour for inch of diameter of the jar ( my candles should burn 2 - 3 hours at a time.)
  

• If candle burns more to one side than the other, give the wick a push with your wick trimmers or a pair of scissors. There is NO METAL in any of my wicks, so they might curl a bit. (It will only happen on the first burn or two, then it will be fine.)
  

• Trim wicks as necessary.
